Intex Aqua Xtreme II

The Indian smartphone manufacturer, Intex has introduced the successor to the last year s Aqua Xtreme smartphone in the form of Aqua Xtreme II. Similar to its predecessor, the device features a 5-inch HD display. The smartphone has decent viewing angles and also has good visibility once you are out in the sun.

The 13-megapixel primary shooter is capable of recording Full HD videos and click high quality images. Keeping in mind about the selfie crazy population, Intex has paired a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Also, there is an LED flash at the back to help you click images even in low-light conditions.

The device houses a 1.4 GHz octa-core MediaTek processor and runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box. The device does not have any performance issues as such and ekes out fairly smooth gaming experience. For multitasking there is 2GB RAM.

The device is slim measuring only 6.99 mm and is expected to compete with the other low-end devices like the Moto G, Zenfone 5 and Redmi Note. It is fuelled by Li-Ion 2000 mAh cell and considering that it is powered by an octa-core chipset the battery should last for a day with moderate usage. The Intex Aqua Xtreme II comes in champagne, white, silver and black colours and has standard connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and a microUSB 2.0 port.

The smartphone comes pre-loaded with Intex Service App for after sales support and also has a Start Launcher, which allows you to access apps directly from lock screen, without unlocking the device.
