Intex Aqua Young

Homegrown smartphone maker Intex has introduced the latest Aqua-series smartphone in the form of Aqua Strong. The smartphone is an entry-level device that makes its mark with a polished plastic back and curved edges specially designed to avail better grip. 

Being a low-end smartphone, one should not expect much in terms of device performance. However, 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum chipset handles all the basic tasks pretty well. The only issue is that the device tends to lag a bit while you work on more than two apps simultaneously. 
For capturing images and shooting videos, the Aqua Strong is armed with a 5-megapixel primary camera paired with an LED flash. For video calls and selfies, there is a VGA camera onboard but it acts more like a showpiece than an imaging device.

On its face, the device boasts a 5-inch FWVGA display that does its job pretty well even in the most demanding situations. The smartphone is equipped with 8GB of internal storage space that can be expanded further via a microSD card up to 32GB. 

Fuelled by a Li-Ion 2,500 mAh battery, the company claims it supports talk time up to 10 hours. For connectivity, there are options like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
