Karbonn A30

Karbonn A30 is a super sized phablet from Karbonn. The phone features a 5.9" capacitive touch screen with display resolution of 480*800 pixels. The phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor. The phone has mammoth dimensions of 165 x 90 x 10 mm making it a super large phone. The phone's large display is definitely its biggest selling point.

The phone sports an 8 MP primary camera in the rear which comes with an LED flash for low light conditions. The camera is also equipped with additional features such as Geo tagging, auto focus and face detection. In terms of video recording, the phone offers only 30 fps recording of VGA resolution. The video quality is not as impressive as the more popular international competitors but is better than the Indian players. The phone also has a 1.2 MP secondary camera that makes it a class leader among domestic competitors. The secondary camera can also be used for video calls. In terms of multimedia support the phone offers support for just about all popular music formats including MP3 and WAV. The phone also supports popular video formats such as MP4 and WMV. The phone comes pre-installed with Music search engine app Saavn for the music lovers.

Karbonn A30 runs on quad band GSM networks on both its SIMs. The phone also supports 3G connectivity. For browsing the web, users can access internet via GPRS,EDGE, 3G and WiFi networks. The phone offers the run on the mill additional connectivity options such as Bluetooth 3.0 and micro USB 2.0 for connecting between devices.

Considering the large size of the screen, Karbonn A20 required a large battery. Karbonn has provided the same with a 2500 mAh battery that provides at least 7 hours of talk time on both 2G and 3G calling. The phone comes with bare minimum internal memory. However there is a micro SD card slot to expand the memory by up to 32 GB.
