Karbonn K9 Kavach 4G

The Karbonn K9 Kavach 4G is a low-end Android-based smartphone that features basic hardware which is aimed at inaugural smartphone users. The device comes with a plastic back panel along with a fingerprint reader which is slotted below the rear camera module.

The Karbonn K9 Kavach 4G flaunts a 5-inch HD IPS display which is paired with decent viewing angles. Outdoor legibility is an issue as users really have to struggle while viewing the screen under bright sunlight.
At its heart, the smartphone is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core chipset which is coupled with 1GB of RAM that ensures smooth sailing to a certain extent. However, multitasking isn't recommended as the device suffers lags when multiple apps run simultaneously.

For imaging, the smartphone comes with two 5-megapixel cameras; one at the back and one at the front. The primary shooter also comes with a dual-LED flash that takes care of low-light imaging and videos while the secondary camera is ideal for recording selfies and video calling.
Internal storage space on the Karbonn K9 Kavach 4G is 8GB which can be used to install apps. The onboard storage can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The smartphone is fuelled by a Li-Ion 2,300mAh battery which the company claims can support up to 10 hours of talk time. And for connectivity, there are options like 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
