Karbonn Quattro L50 HD

The Quattro L50 is an entry-level smartphone priced at under Rs. 10,000 with basic core specs.

The phone features an IPS LCD display that shows crisp and bright colors on its 5.0-inch 720 x 1280 p resolution display. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 141 x 71 x 8.8 mm while weighing a light 134 grams. The device is available in coffee, blue and grey colors. The phone features volume buttons on the right and a power button the left.

The phone runs 5.1 Lollipop on a MediaTek MT6735 chipset with a 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core processor and 2GB RAM that should handle basic tasks with ease and multitasking, while complex tasks will slow the phone down. The chipset features a Mali-T720 MP2 GPU that handles graphics and videos on the phone. This GPU is energy-efficient while being able to play high quality media. The 16GB of inbuilt storage holds default apps and data, which can be increased to 32GB with a memory card for storing personal data.

The rear camera is 13-megapixels that shoots clear images with its f/2.0 aperture and enough light. The camera also has LED flash and a PDAF sensor that enables the camera to focus faster, therefore taking pictures faster. This camera is capable of recording videos in 1080p at 30fps. The front camera is 5-megapixels that also takes adequately clear images. A 2,650mAh battery powers the phone, keeping it alive for less than 12 hours a day with moderate use.

The dual micro-SIM phone supports 4G LTE networks for fast data transfer, Bluetooth 4.0 for data transfers between devices, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS for navigation, and a microUSB 2.0 port for data transfer and charging. Sensors on the phone include proximity and ambient light sensors, accelerometer and a gyroscope.
