Karbonn Titanium Moghul

Domestic handset maker Karbonn extended its Titanium series of smartphones with the introduction of the Titanium Moghul. The low-end Android-based smartphone features decent hardware which does justice to the price tag it comes with. As far as the design is concerned, it has a plastic body with a Chrome finished frame.

In terms of imaging, the Karbonn Titanium Moghul comes with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera for recording videos and capturing images. It is coupled with an LED flash using which one can capture images even in low light conditions. Users can also indulge in video calling via Skype and click self-portraits courtesy the 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera.

The device flaunts a 5-inch IPS LCD display that looks bright indoors but fades away under direct sunlight. With decent viewing angles, the smartphone does its job and let users enjoy videos and games. In addition, to keep your device scratch-free Karbonn has included a Dragontrail glass. The handset runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out-of-the-box. The device comes with a Gesture Flip mode that enables users to control the device without touching it. Also, the pre-installed Swiftkey keyboard helps you to converse in 22 languages.

Under the hood, the Titanium Moghul is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6592 SoC which is clocked at 1.2 GHz. The device is expected to ensure prompt and lag-free multitasking courtsey 1 GB of RAM. For storing apps, you can use 8 GB of onboard storage and if that does not meet your requirements there is an expansion slot that can boost the storage up to 32 GB via a microSD card. The extended storage can be used to store personal data and files including music, videos, images, etc.

There are multiple connectivity options that tag along with the device. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. To ensure that everything runs smoothly, the smartphone is backed by a 2,000 mAh removable battery that is expected to last for an entire day with moderate usage.
