Lava A50

The Lava A50 is an entry level smartphone with unremarkable specs but with the advantage of being a small device with a 4.0-inch display.

The A50 features a 4.0-inch TFT display with 480 x 800-pixel resolution that shows media in acceptable quality. The pixel density of the display is 233 PPI. The device measures 123 x 63.4 x 9.7 mm. The A50 is available in silver and black colors.

The A50 runs Marshmallow 6.0 on a MediaTek chipset with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 512MB of RAM that takes care of basic mobile tasks with ease. Internal storage space on the phone is 8GB that can be pushed to 32GB with an SD card.

The A50 sports a 5-megapixel camera that captures simple images and is aided by LED flash for low-light conditions.The front camera on the device is 0.3-megapixels or VGA that captures grainy images at best. The camera app features the usual set of geotagging, panorama features. The battery that powers the phone is 1,550mAh that lasts ten hours at best.

The A50 supports dual SIM cards that support 3G data, aside from which the phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. The phone does not support 4G. The phone also sports a microUSB 2.0 port and supports GPS and A-GPS for navigation.
