Lava Flair Z1

Lava has launched a new smartphone in the Flair-series. The device named Flair Z1, comes with a large 5-inch display which is ideal for reading, watching videos and playing low-end games. The device also features gesture control making it convenient to launch apps at the go directly from the lock screen. Other features include auto call recording, flip to mute. The smartphone is an entry-level device and bears a modest price tag and is available in black and white colours.

The smartphone comes with a 5MP rear shooter with LED flash to capture images and record videos even in low-light. On the front, there is a 2MP front-facing camera which can be used to take selfies and make video calls. Connectivity options includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. The Lava Flair Z1 also comes with dual-SIM support.

The device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and provides users with the latest Android experience. To keep things running, there is a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM to aid basic multi-tasking. The Flair Z1 comes with 8GB of onboard storage to store apps and for storing personal data like songs, images, videos, etc there is an expansion slot which can be used to expand the storage up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. In addition, the smartphone also has accelerometer, proximity and light sensors. A Lithium Polymer 2,000 mAh battery sits at the back which the company claims can keep the device functioning throughout the day.
