Lava Iris 402

The Lava Iris has a candybar form factor and a soft back panel that is easy to hold on to. The phone sports a decent 4-inch WVGA capacitive touch screen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The screen has multi-touch support and also features pinch to zoom functionality. The phone runs on Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system. A 1.2 GHz dual-core processor along with 256 MB of RAM, which might be low, powers the device. The phone also has dual-SIM functionality that comes in handy when switching between two SIM cards without having to turn the phone off every time.

The Lava Iris 402 features a 3 MP rear-facing camera with LED flash that works decently. The phone can also record VGA videos at 30fps. The device sports a front-facing camera as well. It is of 0.3 MP, which can be used for making video calls. The device has FM radio for entertainment on the go. The phone supports many audio and video formats such as MP3, eAAC+, WMA, WAV, MP4, H.263, H.264 and WMV.

The phone has 3G, 2G and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) for Internet connectivity. The device does not support 4G networks. The device has Bluetooth for transferring data and multimedia streaming purposes. It also has a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and PC connectivity.

The device packs an impressive 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery that gives a talk time of up to 7 hours on 2G and 5 hours on 3G. It also has 512 MB of ROM, of which only 150 MB is available to the user. The device also comes with a microSD card slot for extending storage up to 32 GB.
