Lava Iris Icon

Lava Iris Icon is the latest offering by the Indian mobile OEM in the Iris Series of smartphones. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat, but the company has not mentioned anything about an Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade. Housed in an ultra-thin body, the device is just 7.7 mm thick. The device features a 5-inch (1280 720 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch.

Under the hood, the Lava Iris Icon is powered by the ARM Mali 400 MP2 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz quad core coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone has an internal storage capacity of 16GB which can be further expanded via a microSD card up to 32GB.

In the imaging department, it sports a 13-megapixel rear shooter with dual LED flash. The BSI 2 sensor which comes with the back shooter heals capture stunning images. The device has something in store for all the selfie-enthusiasts in the form of a 5-megapixel front sensor which can record Full HD videos.

Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB port. The device will run an entire day thanks to the 2500 mAh Li-Po battery powering the device.
