Lava P7

The Lava P7 is a budget phone with a 5-inch screen sporting an FWVGA (Full Wide Video Graphics Array) display. The handset is available in three colour variants being, white, blue, and gold. The device although not classy but can eke out basic features like voice calling, messaging, browsing, etc.

In the photography domain, the canvas phone is facilitated with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash that enhances low light photography. The camera also supports high definition video recording. The company has also thrown in a 2-megapixel front snapper for selfies. One of the unique features of the device is that the front shooter is also paired with an LED flash to ensure better quality video calls and selfies. In addition, there are other camera options like Live Photo, Panorama, Voice Capture, and Face Beauty that adds more to your images.

The Lava P7 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box with a definite upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow according to the company, delivering the latest Android experience to its users. An intriguing feature of the P7 is the Google Indic keyboard which supports as many as 12 Indian languages.

On the hardware front, the phone is powered by a 32-bit MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. Along with 1 GB RAM, the phone also offers 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card. That is enough to fit all your apps, music, images, videos, etc.

The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery that is claimed to provide more than 20 hours of talk time. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB, and 3G. The Lava P7 is expected to compete with the likes of Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 and Asus Zenfone Go.
