Lava X38

Domestic smartphone maker Lava has strengthened its low-end smartphone portfolio with the introduction of its latest X-series smartphone. The Lava X38 is available in black colour and packs entry-level specs.

The smartphone comes with an 8-megapxiel rear camera that is paired with an LED flash to aid in low-light imaging. The LED flash at the back also helps you to shoot videos in the dark. The 2-megapixel front-facing camera does not promise much in terms of selfies and video calling but the fact that it is coupled with an LED flash makes the device stand out in the given price segment. The Lava X38 is rectangular and sports a criss-cross plastic textured back panel.

One of the unique features of the Lava X38 is that is packs a big battery. Backed by a massive Li-PoIon 4,000 mAh cell, the device promises more than a day of smartphone experience even for a heavy user on a single charge. Under the hood, the device is equipped with a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek chipset which is coupled with 1GB of RAM. 

The Lava X38 boasts a 5-inch HD IPS LCD screen that is ideal for viewing videos and playing games. For storing media and personal data including apps, there is 8GB of internal storage space that can be expanded further via a microSD card up to 32GB. 

The Lava X38 runs the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box and also has LTE support. Other connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
