Lenovo S5 Pro GT

The Lenovo S5 Pro GT, like most mid-range Android smartphones of 2018, has a 6.2-inch LTPS IPS LCD screen with a notched design and Full HD+ resolution. The screen has 18.7:9 aspect ratio and 402ppi pixel density. Inside the notch, there s a 20MP front-facing camera and an 8MP IR camera sensor for face unlock. The phone also features stereo speakers for better quality and louder audio. For wired audio, the phone uses a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Lenovo S5 Pro GT runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based ZUI 10 software. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, which features octa-core Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 512 GPU, is a potent higher mid-range smartphone platform. The chipset is paired with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. There s a microSD card slot for storage expansion by up to an additional 256GB. The Snapdragon 660 chipset also brings connectivity features like GPS, dual-SIM dual-4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 5.0. There is a USB 2.0 Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

There are two camera sensors at the Lenovo S5 Pro GT s rear: 12MP (1/2.9-inch) and 20MP. The 12MP sensor has f/1.8 aperture, 1.25-micron pixels, phase-detection autofocus, and 4K video recording at 30 frames per second. The 20MP camera sensor has a telephoto lens (2x optical zoom) and f/2.6 aperture. There s dual-tone dual-LED flash to help with low-light conditions. At the front, the 20MP camera which can be used for capture selfies, while the 8MP infrared camera sensor captures depth information and helps in creating selfies with background blur effect. The front-facing camera setup can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

A 3500mAh battery powers the Lenovo S5 Pro GT but the company hasn t clarified if it is capable of rapid charging through Quick Charge or any other fast charging protocol. There s a fingerprint reader at the rear of the phone, which can be used to efficiently and safely unlock the phone.
