Lenovo Z2 Plus

The Lenovo ZUK Z2 is the successor to the ZUK Z1. For many the latest variant might be a toned down one but the device comes bundled with power packed features. The ZUK Z2 differs from its previous version in terms of chipset, screen and battery. There is also a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button.  

The ZUK Z2 flaunts a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display that is paired with awesome viewing angles and simultaneously reproduces vibrant and crisp colours. The screen on the smartphone can be viewed without any fuss even in the most demanding situations. However, similar to the ZUK Z1, the Z2 also misses Corning's Gorilla Glass protection.  

The smartphone hosts an array of connectivity options that helps you remain connected to your near and dear ones every time. Connectivity options on the Lenovo ZUK Z2 include 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and a microUSB 3.1 Type-C reversible port. The smartphone draws its power from a non-removable Li-Ion 3,500 mAh battery which is enough to keep the device functioning with heavy usage. The battery also supports fast charging courtesy Quick Charge 3.0. Users can expect to charge the smartphone up to 83% in just 30 minutes.  

The imaging section undergoes minor alteration as the ZUK Z2 sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/1.8 lens. The rear camera supports features like HDR, panorama, phase detection, etc. One can also capture Full HD videos using the primary shooter. In low light users needn't worry as the smartphone also has an LED flash to aid in such conditions. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera that helps you capture selfies and make video calls.    

The major difference in the ZUK Z2 is its chipset. The device is powered by a 2.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC under the hood that is designed to eke out flawless performance. You can also enjoy high-end games as the device also comes with Adreno 530 GPU. The device is also designed to provide effortless and lag-free multitasking as the chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM. For storing apps and media files there is 32GB of onboard storage which can further be expanded via a microSD card.  

The Lenovo ZUK Z2 is a power-packed smartphone that certainly packs a punch when it comes down to hardware. Bundled with lots of attractive features the device is expected to do well in the smartphone market.
