The LG G Flex2 is the successor to the LG G Flex which was the first smartphone of its kind; it had a flexible body that can adjust itself to an extent under pressure. The LG G Flex2 has a curved body and display with a self-healing back panel coating. The device measures 149.1 x 75.3mm, and it has a thickness of 7.1mm at its thinnest point and 9.4mm at its thickest point.

The display on the LG G Flex 2 is built on P-OLED technology that means it can deliver deep black levels by switching off particular pixels which result in better contrast ratio. The display has full-HD (1920 x 1080) resolution enclosed in a 5.5-inch screen size that is protected with Gorilla Glass 3. A 13-megapixel rear-facing camera is in charge of primary photography on the LG G Flex2; it is equipped with laser autofocus and OIS to provide blur-free images with fast focus. The video is recorded in stereo sound at 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution. The selfie camera on this device has a resolution of 2-megapixel that can record videos up to full-HD resolution.

The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box with LG’s own UX user interface that has customised look to it. Features like smart circle are compatible with extra accessories available from LG. The LG G Flex2 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor that houses four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz. The chipset is coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM that will aid in smooth multitasking. Playing games will be fun as well, thanks to the Adreno 430 GPU. The internal storage of 32GB can be expanded with a dedicated microSD card up to 256GB.

The battery enclosed in the LG G Flex2 has a capacity of 3,000 mAh which is built on Li-Po technology. The battery will get the phone running for a day with moderate usage. The phone supports Quick Charging 2.0 technology that can charge the LG G Flex2 up to 60% in just 30 minutes. The LG G Flex2 comes with 4G LTE connectivity, other basic connectivity options that come with device include dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, GLONASS, Stereo FM radio and a microUSB port for charging.
