LG Stylo 2

The LG Stylo 2 is a smartphone device that focuses on productivity and multimedia. The smartphone features a stylus just like the Note series from Samsung but at a much lower price. The front of the device is totally covered with display and hence the bezel is minimal. The rear of the device has faux metal finish with volume and power button sitting just below the camera. The stylus is placed on the upper right side of the device; it measures 155 x 79.5 x 7.4mm and weighs 144.6 grams.

The most important aspect of this device is its large 5.7-inch display. The large display will surely help in better multimedia and productivity experience, but the HD resolution of the display lets it down. The pixel density is among the least at just 258 pixels per inch. The imaging on the LG Stylo 2 is a carried by a 13-megapixel autofocus rear-facing shooter and 5-megapixel fixed focus front-facing shooter. The primary camera can record full-HD videos, and it is equipped with LED flash for better low-light images and videos. The selfie camera provides the user with sharp images.

The LG Stylo 2 is loaded with Android’s 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The stock Android is customised with LG’s UX UI that provides it with a totally different looking user interface. LG has also included with extra productivity features on the software side to take advantage of the stylus. The stylus also makes selecting and copying the text very easy due its higher accuracy pointing compared to bare fingers. The device shows its performance with a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. The processor is packed with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.2GHz. The multitasking performance is facilitated with 2GB of RAM, and the graphics are handled by Adreno 306 GPU. For people who aren’t satisfied with 16GB of internal memory don’t have to worry as the storage can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card.

The device is packed with a large 3,000 mAh removable Li-Ion battery for all day long usage. The device also features dual-SIM 4G functionality while the other connectivity options include Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS with A-GPS, and a microUSB v2.0 port.
