LYF Flame 4

The LYF Flame 4 is an entry-level smartphone with basic core specs and 4G VoLTE support priced at under Rs. 10,000.

The device features a 4.0-inch WVGA or 480 x 800 pixel resolution display with a pixel density of 225 PPI that suffices for basic mobile tasks but is not one for entertainment. The display is protected by Asahi Dragontrail Glass against extensive damage. The phone measures 122.5 x 64.4 x 10.25 mm and weighs 117 grams. The device comes in black exteriors only with a textured back for better grip.

The OS on the Flame 4 is Lollipop 5.1 that runs on an octa-core 1.5 GHz quad-core CPU and 512MB of RAM that handles the simplest tasks with ease. Internal memory on the phone is 8GB that is expandable to 32GB with a microSD card. ?

2-megapixels is the rear camera that also features dual LED flash, autofocus, face detection, panorama mode to name a few. The anti-banding feature allows the camera to counter effects on an unsteady hand while taking pictures. The rear camera can also record in HD and in slow motion. The front camera is 0.3-megapixels that takes the simplest of pictures. Both front and rear cameras are capable of 3x digital zoom. The battery on the phone is 1,400mAh that lasts about 8 hours at best.

The dual (4G + 2G) micro-SIM phone supports 4G VoLTE networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 to sync with other devices, micro-USB for charging and data transfers. The device also supports ten Indian languages with Matrabhasha.
