Meizu MX5e

The Meizi MX5e follows the Meizu MX5 smartphone. The MX5e features a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor and a 16MP rear camera in contrast to the MX5's 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU and 21MP rear camera.

The MX5e features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD resolution and 401 PPI pixel density that shows bright colors and images. The AMOLED display provides good viewing angles. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the display. The device measures 149.9 x 74.7 x 7.6 mm while weighing 149 grams. The device is available in gray, silver, gold and black exteriors.

The device runs 6.0 Marshmallow with Flyme 4.5 on top, on a MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 chipset with an octa-core 2.0 GHz processor and 3GB of RAM that will handle demanding apps with ease. The MX5 on the other hand, features a 2.0 GHz processor with 3GB of RAM. This gives rise to a 10% decrease in performance in the MX5e. The MX5e has 16GB of internal storage that cannot be increased. The phone is also available in a 32GB storage variant. Graphics for games on the phone are handled by a PowerVR G6200 GPU.

The primary camera on the MX5e is a step down at 16-megapixels that takes clear pictures and is aided by autofocus and LED flash, from the rear camera on the MX5 which is a 21-megapixel camera. The secondary camera on the MX5e is 5-megapixels. The rear camera on the phone records in Full HD. The battery on the MX5e is 3,150mAh Li-ion that is non-removable that lasts a day.

The MX5e is a dual-nano SIM device that supports 4G LTE and 3G networks. Other connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi 802.111 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and a microUSB 2.0 OTG port that allows users to connect the phone to pen drives directly. The phone also has GPS, aided by A-GPS and GLONASS. The device s home button doubles as a fingerprint sensor. Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and a compass.
