Micromax Bolt A089 is a dual-SIM budget smartphone from the stables of the Indian manufacturer. The smartphone brings some interesting features such as a 4-inch touchscreen having a 233 PPI pixel density along with dual-core processing power.

The 3G enabled device comes with an array of additional connectivity options. However, the device is only data enabled on one of the two SIM slots. Additional options include Bluetooth 4.0, a microUSB 2.0 slot and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The smartphone can support a talk time of up to 7 hours thanks to the 2000-mAh non-removable Li-Po battery powering the device. The Micromax Bolt A089 is available in white and black colour options.

In the photography department, the device falls a little short of the competition as it comes with only a 2-megapixel primary camera coupled with a VGA front shooter. The device does not come with flash feature and both the sensors come with fixed focus lenses. The front camera can be used to take some pretty basic selfies or even make video calls.

The processor performs efficiently through most day to day activities, though it cannot run the latest games without choking. The processor is coupled with 512MB of RAM to deliver a breezy multi-tasking experience. However, it cannot handle too many applications running simultaneously. The smartphone packs 4GB of internal storage space. The phone comes equipped with a microSD card slot to enable further expansion up to 32GB.
