Micromax Canvas 1

The Micromax Canvas 1 is a low-end offering from the stables of the home grown manufacturer. The device is sleek and combined with curved edges; it looks stylish. The rear camera is slotted at the top left corner in an attempt to replicate the iPhone. The device is available across all the offline stores in the country. 

Under the hood, the Canvas 1 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek chipset which is coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone can deliver smooth performance, but multitasking can be an issue as the device stutters. 
For imaging, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera which can be used for shooting images and videos in both indoor and outdoor conditions. Also, users can afford to click images even in the dark courtesy an LED flash. At the front, the Canvas 1 is equipped with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter.

The Micromax Canvas 1 is fuelled by a Li-Ion 2,500mAh battery which the company claims is strong and can last for up to 7 hours. 
For connectivity, there are options like 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB 2.0 port, and dual SIM support that allows users to use two SIM cards simultaneously. 

The Micromax Canvas 1 ships with an internal storage capacity of 16GB which can easily be expanded using a microSD card up to 32GB. 
In the software department, the smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat.

With the Micromax Canvas 1, users get a 100-day replacement promise on any hardware issue which the company claims is a part of the 1-year product warranty. The handset sports a 5-inch HD display which can be used for watching videos and playing games. However, legibility under bright sunlight isn't praiseworthy.
