The Micromax Canvas 2 Plus is a budget smartphone which is bundled with modest specifications. The device is intended towards initial smartphone users and can easily carry out any day-to-day tasks. Also, at the back, there is a fingerprint sensor which you can use to unlock the smartphone. The device comes with a standard 13-megapixel primary sensor which along with an LED flash is designed to shoot low-light images and videos. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera which you can use for selfies and video calling.

The Micromax Canvas 2 Plus hosts all the regular connectivity options which include 4G with VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and a microUSB 2.0 port. one also gets dual SIM support.
Under the hood, the device is loaded with a quad-core chipset which is clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM to ensure a smooth and lag-free experience.

The Micromax Canvas 2 Plus flaunts a 5.7-inch HD+ display which reproduces bright and vibrant colours in both indoor and outdoor environments. Unfortunately, unlike most smartphones in the similar price segment, the Micromax Canvas 2 Plus does not have Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The device packs a non-removable Li-Ion 4,000mAh battery which the company claims carry enough juice to keep the device afloat for more than a day even with heavy and extensive usage.

The Micromax Canvas 2 Plus is bundled with an internal storage space of 32GB which can be expanded using a microSD card up to 128GB so that there is enough space for users to store all that they want.
On the software front, the handset is based on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box.
