Micromax Canvas 6 Pro

The Micromax Canvas 6 Pro is an upgraded version of the Canvas 6. The smartphone is equipped with eye-catching specs which are combined with a new and attractive design. The designing makes the device look premium thanks to the metal unibody design which is similar to the Canvas 6.

At its heart the smartphone is expected to deliver flawless performance courtesy an octa-core chipset with a clock speed of 2GHz. The Canvas 6 Pro comes with 16GB of internal storage space. Although it does not sound much there is scope for further expansion via a microSD card that allows you to store all personal files including songs, videos, images, etc via a microSD card up to 128GB. The device also allows you to work on multiple apps at the same time with ease as there is 4GB RAM as opposed to 3GB on the Canvas 6.

The new device enters the smartphone market with a refreshed design. Although the Canvas Pro 6 is big, the curved edges on the back make the device easier to hold. It also comes with a removable back cover underneath is the battery and the two SIM slots. The device is unique and is the first for the company to sport a fingerprint sensor that counts for added security and keeps your data safe. On the front, the smartphone boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD display which is combined with satisfactory viewing angles.

The Micromax Canvas 6 Pro comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera that is capable of capturing images and recording videos. The images taken by the device looks bright but lacks detailing. In dull environments, there is an LED flash to help you out. One can also record Full HD videos. As opposed to the 8-megapixel front camera on the Canvas 6, the Canvas 6 Pro has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for capturing selfies and making video calls via apps like Messenger, Skype, Etc.

Connectivity options on the Canvas 6 Pro are similar to that of the Canvas 6. Options include 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC and a microUSB 2.0 port. The device runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box with the customary UI on top. It is backed by a Li-Ion 3,000 mAh cell which carries enough juice to keep the phone functioning for an entire day.
