The Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4502 is an upgraded version of the previously launched Canvas A1 AQ4501 Android One smartphone. The low-end Android smartphone ships with features that include a 4.5-inch display, a dual-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and a 5 MP rear shooter.

The smartphone features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a FWVGA resolution of 854 480 pixels, which results in a pixel density of 218 PPI. The device does not project sharp visuals and viewing angles but can be used for browsing and low end gaming purposes. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 processor with a clock speed of 1.3 GHz. It also has 1GB RAM that supports multitasking and allows you to run more than one app at the same time.

On the back of the device, there is a 5-megapixel primary camera for taking images and videos, with an LED flash included for dim-light photography. For taking selfies and making video calls, users can take advantage of the 2-megapixe front-facing camera. There is 8GB of internal storage capacity that can be used to install necessary applications. The internal storage can further be boosted up to 32GB on which users can store their personal information including images, music and other media.

A Li-Ion 1700 mAh battery keeps the device functioning throughout the day.
