Micromax Canvas Amaze

Another introduction to the popular Canvas series from the India-based manufacturer Micromax is the Canvas Amaze. The variant looks similar to the previously launched Micromax Canvas Express 2.

  The smartphone flaunts a similar 5-inch HD display which offers decent legibility even when placed under direct sunlight. The screen does not come with any Gorilla Glass protection, therefore, it is advised to use the device carefully.

  The device is expected to sail smoothly as it is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor and 2GB RAM. Users can work on multiple apps without worrying about any performance issues. For storage, the Canvas Amaze comes with 8GB of onboard storage which can further be expanded up to 32GB using the expansion slot present on the device.

  For photography, the Canvas Amaze sports a 13-megapixel rear camera paired with an LED flash to record videos and capture images. For selfies, one can gorge on the 5-megapixel front-facing camera. There are added options like autofocus, face and smile detection to add more to your images.

  There are regular connectivity options that tag along with the device includes dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. Keeping things afloat is a 2,000 mAh cell. Available in black colour the device is expected to attract eyeballs keeping in mind the price tag.
