Micromax Canvas Fun A63 Details

The Canvas Fun A63 is a low-cost handset that was launched by Indian phone maker Micromax back in 2013. The Micromax Canvas Fun A63 is a small handset by today's standards and features a 4-inch display that boasts of a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The display has a PPI density of 223 and is capable of displaying 16m colors as well.
Like many other Micromax devices, the Micromax Canvas Fun A63 too is powered by chipsets from low cost chipmaker Mediatek. In this case, the phone is powered by the Mediatek 6572 chipset that houses a dual core ARM Cortex A7 CPU running at 1.3 Ghz. The graphics is handled by the tried and tested Mali 400 GPU. There is 512 MB of RAM thrown in as well. The Canvas Fun A63 gets 4GB of internal memory which is simply too less by today's standards. However, the phone does sport a microSD card slot using which you can expand the memory up to 32 GB.
Moving on to the imaging capabilities of the Micromax Canvas Fun A63, the device sports a 2 megapixel camera at the rear which is also capable of capturing videos in basic, VGA (640 x 480) resolution. There is no front camera on this device. On the connectivity front, the Micromax Canvas Fun A63 is decently spec d. It comes with support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot Bluetooth, USB, A-GPS Radio and FM radio. It even supports recording from FM Radio. The handset also comes loaded with a bunch of sensors - including an accelerometer and a proximity sensor. At the time of its launch, the phone ran Android 4.2 JellyBean.
The Micromax Canvas Fun A63 comes with a 1500 mAH Li-ion battery that is endows the phone with a 135 hour standby time. it is also good enough to offer a 4-hour talk time. The device comes in two color options - Blue and Black.
