Micromax Unite 4 Pro

The Micromax Unite 4 Pro is a slightly upgraded version of its predecessor, the Unite 4. The smartphone similar to the Unite 4 is targeted towards first-time smartphone users who wishes to use a smartphone in their native language. Available in black and gold colour options, the device packs decent hardware at a low price point.

The Micromax Unite 4 Pro features rounded edges that make the device fit easily in the palm. On the front, it flaunts a 5-inch HD display that is combined with decent viewing angles and also offers good legibility. Although the screen can be read easily while indoors, the display suffers while you are out in the sun. Also, there is no Corning's Gorilla Glass protection to keep your device scratch-free. However, there is a fingerprint scanner embdded in the home button.

Micromax has kept the imaging section unaltered to the Unite 4. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera to aid selfies and video calls. Also, the device comes with an 8-megapixel rear shooter that can be used for clicking images and recording videos in both dark and bright conditions thanks to the presence of an LED flash. Connectivity options on the Micromax Unite 4 Pro include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and a microUSB 2.0 port. There is dual-SIM support that allow user to use two networks simultaneously. 

The smartphone runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under Indus OS 2.0 out of the box. Indus OS 2.0 comes with support for 12 regional languages and features like an App Bazaar, Indus-to-Indus free SMS services, and Indus Swipe feature. The device churns out decent performance courtesy a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor that is paired with 2GB RAM to take care of your multitasking needs. 

You can store all that you want using the 16GB of internal storage space that comes with an option of further expansion. Users can boost the storage on the Unite 4 Pro with the help of a microSD card up to 32GB. The device is fuelled by a massive Li-Ion 3,900 mAh cell that promises to last for more than a day with heavy usage.
