The new Moto E8 smartphone features a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. The screen gets an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a pixel density of 271 PPI. The display also has a water-drop-shaped notch which comprises of a selfie camera. Under the hood, the E8 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor which is coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. The device boots Android 11 out of the box with near-stock UI. The smartphone packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. On the back of the phone, there is a dual-camera setup which consists of a 13MP primary camera and a secondary 2MP depth sensor. The selfies and video calls can be made with the help of a 5MP camera unit located upfront. The connectivity options which the device offer include dual-SIM card support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microUSB 2.0 port. The device on the backside features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The other popular mobile from Motorola includes Moto E7 Plus and the Moto G9.
