Nokia Lumia 625

Nokia introduced low-end Windows smartphones like Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 620 which inherited features that were reserved usually for the higher-end phones. The Nokia Lumia 625 is another mid-level windows operating system based smartphone. The device is a slight upgrade from the Lumia 620 and sports a bigger 4.7-inch IPS display.

The device is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Krait processor which is paired with an Adreno 305 GPU. In addition, the smartphone comes with 512 MB of RAM to ensure smooth multi-tasking experience for the user. The device ships with Microsoft Windows Phone 8 out of the box with an additional upgrade to the Windows Phone Black OS promised in the pipeline. Purchasing the smartphone also allows you access to 7GB of free Skydrive storage space. Internal storage on the device comes in the form of 8GB of on-board memory which can be bumped up to 64GB using a microSD card.

The device draws power from a Li-Ion non-removable 2000 mAh battery which gives the device a whopping 90 hours of continuous music playback. The smartphone is rated to function for 24 hours of continuous talk time. The 4G LTE enabled device comes with the usually array of connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port.

The Lumia 625 sports a 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. The display has qHD (800 400 pixels) screen resolution translating to a rather low 199 PPI. The device is available in five vibrant colours- orange, black, white, green and yellow.

In the camera section, the device comes equipped with a 5-megapixel primary camera and a VGA front shooter. The front camera is bound to disappoint the selfie lowers due to the low resolution, but the rear camera packs a punch and captures beautiful low light images.
