Oppo A37f

The Oppo A37f is a super slim smartphone device with a tough metal build and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The device has a uniform thickness of 7.7mm throughout the device’s structure. The Oppo A37f is not as compact as some of its rivals due to the thick bezels, hence giving it dimensions of 143.1 x 71mm and it is available only in one colour variant, Gold.

The HD display on the Oppo A37f has a screen size of 5-inch. The display has IPS technology incorporated in it; that means no matter from what angle you look at the display, the colours will remain the same. The camera department is where the device does not impress, while all the other mobile manufacturers are providing the devices in this price range with a 13-megapixel primary camera, the Oppo A37f has an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash. The secondary camera on the device is a 5-megapixel shooter with an aperture of f/2.4. The video recording performance is also mediocre; videos have a resolution of 1080p (full-HD).

The Oppo A37f is an Android based device; it is loaded with a customised version of Android 5.1 Lollipop. Oppo calls its software customisation as Color OS. The Color OS 3.0 has various optimisation and visual changes under the hood. Oppo hasn't unveiled any plans to upgrade the device to Android 6.0 Marshmallow or 7.0 Nougat. Oppo has used Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset for delivering the performance; the chipset has four Cortex-A53 cores for processing and an Adreno 306 GPU for providing graphics. The mediocre processor is coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Oppo A37f provides 16GB of internal memory; expandable up to 256GB through microSD card.

A 2,630 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery powers the Oppo a37f’s hardware. Sadly, Oppo did not provide VOOC fast charging technology in this device. The connectivity on the Oppo A37f is pretty much standard with dual-SIM 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS, microUSB v2.0 port, and FM Radio functionality.
