It may have been Xiaomi mobile phones that shook up and changed the budget smartphone market in India but it was Realme that made the fastest progress in the last 2 or 3 years. The brand, that is a sub brand of Oppo, took on Xiaomi and other budget segment competitors by aggressively playing the price game, and offering maximum value for money with all of its devices. After the grand success of the Realme 6 series last year, we now get its even more powerful successors — the Realme 7 series. And the base variant is the Realme 7, which we are going to take a closer look at right now. The new phone comes with a large 6.67 inch IPS LCD display which has a punch hole on the top left corner and offers a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Handling the processing work is the MediaTek Helio G90T chipset inside and you get 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone runs Android 10. As expected, there is a quad camera array on the rear made up of a 64MP primary lens, a 12MP secondary ultra wide camera, a 5MP macro shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. The punch hole on the display houses a 16MP selfie snapper.
