Samsung Galaxy A30s

The Samsung Galaxy A30s is one of the few mid-range smartphones to come with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. The screen s aspect ratio is 19.5:9 and there s a waterdrop-shaped or U-shaped notch at the top-middle part of the screen. The phone s screen is protected by Corning s Gorilla Glass 3 panel. The Galaxy A30s uses a plastic shell, a glass front, and a glasstic back. The phone also features a rear-facing capacitive fingerprint reader.

The Exynos 7885, which is under the Galaxy A30s hood, is more powerful than the Exynos 7904 which was used inside the Galaxy A30. The phone is equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Storage space can be further expanded using a compatible microSD card since this phone has a microSD card slot. The phone runs Android 9 Pie and then there s Samsung s custom software called One UI, which has a lot of additional features like scrollable screenshot tool and much more.

The Galaxy A30s has one camera on the front and two cameras on the rear. The seflie camera has 13MP resolution, a fixed-focus lens, and 1080p video recording. The rear-facing camera setup on the phone has 13MP primary sensor with autofocus, F1.7 aperture, and 4K 30fps video recording. The 5MP camera is used as a depth sensor which helps the phone in capturing images that have DSLR-like shallow depth-of-field effect for background blur (also known as bokeh mode or portrait mode).

The Samsung Galaxy A30s is powered by the same 4000mAh battery that was used in the Galaxy A30. The phone will be able to last at least one day even with heavy usage. When the power depletes, the Galaxy A30s can be rapidly charged using the bundled 15W Adaptive Fast Charge adapter and the USB Type-C cable. It s a 4G LTE dual-SIM phone with VoLTE ability. FM Radio, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth 5.0 are present as well. There s still a 3.5mm headphone jack for listening to music, calls, or any type of audio.
