Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) 8GB RAM

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) packs a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED full-HD+ (1080x2220 pixels) Infinity Display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. There are thin bezels on the sides and slightly thicker bezels on the top and bottom. The phone is available in Bubblegum Pink, Caviar Black, and Lemonade Blue color variants. Under the hood, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor powers the device with Adreno 512 GPU and either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, depending upon the variant. The SD660 is among the most powerful platforms in Qualcomm's 600-series as it features Qualcomm Artificial Intelligence Engine (AIE), which delivers faster performance for AI-based and advanced camera features. There is 128GB of inbuilt storage on the phone, which can be further expanded up to 512GB via microSD card. The rear panel of the handset also includes the fingerprint scanner, which is placed in the middle position, on the side of the quad-lens setup. 

On the software side, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) runs Android 8.0 Oreo-based Samsung Experience UX out-of-the-box, which even though custom, does not foil the performance. The highlight of the Galaxy A9 (2018) is its quad camera setup with ultra-wide, depth, and telephoto sensors. The phone has a 24MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 10MP telephoto sensor featuring 2x optical zoom and f/2.4 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 120-degree lens and f/2.4 aperture, and lastly, a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, stacked one below another on the rear panel. The primary sensor is equipped with the capability to put together four pixels into one neatly. All the four cameras work together to produce a crisp output. On the front, the Galaxy A9 (2018) is adorned with a 24MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and support for Face Unlock functionality. The Galaxy A9 (2018) is claimed by Samsung to recognize 19 different scenes and enhance color setting to deliver shots according to the content. The phone's rear camera also detects naturally occurring flaws while clicking pictures, such as closed eyes, face blur, overexposure, and notifies the user to click it again. The front camera is also stacked with features like selfie focus and pro-lighting. The Galaxy A9 (2018) also supports AR Emoji and allows users to try up to 36 animated emojis.

Last but not least, the Galaxy A9 (2018) supports connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz,5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A 3,800mAh battery completes the package with support for fast charging.
