Samsung Galaxy Chat is a mid range smartphone with QWERTY Keypad. The phone features a dedicated button for Samsung Chat on Service. The phone runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone has a bar shaped form factor with a 3.0" TFT capacitive touch display. The phone is fairly handy with dimensions of 118.9 x 59.3 x 11.7 mm and weighs around 112 grams.

The phone has 2MP camera with video recording capability. The phone supports MP3, WAV and eAAC+ formats in audio playback and MP4,WMV and H.264 formats in video playback.
