Samsung Galaxy Core Prime

The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G360H) is an entry-level dual-SIM smartphone offering from Samsung, and is a successor to the Samsung Galaxy Core. It comes equipped with a 4.5-inch LCD display, Android 4.4 KitKat, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage that can be expanded, a 2,000 mAh battery. A 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera is what you get with this device. It was launched with an official price tag of Rs. 9,700 in three colours; black, grey, and white.

The Galaxy Core Prime resembles the design language used by low-end and mid-range Samsung smartphones that were released in 2014. The body is made up of glossy plastic and anodised-metal like sides.The capacitive multitasking button, a physical home button, and a capacitive back key are below the display. A chrome-plated earpiece, proximity sensor, ambient-light sensor, and the secondary camera are placed above the display. The plastic back, which has matte finish, can be removed using a latch. The LED flash, primary camera, and loudspeaker slits are on the back. Samsung logos are present are present on the front as well as on the back of the device. The volume key and the power key are present on the left and right hand sides respectively. The device measures 130.8 x 67.9 x 8.8 mm and has a weight of 130 grams, so it easily fits in the hands as well as pockets, making it easier to carry around.

A diagonally 4.5-inch long multitouch capacitive TFT LCD display has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels (207 ppi), and can display up to 16 million individual colours. There s no protection glass over the screen, so there are chances that it might pick up scratches after few months of usage. A 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and single-LED flash light have been assigned the task of imaging. It can record videos in 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, which is commonly known as 720p HD. Strangely, the primary camera lacks HDR mode, something that is available even in relatively lower-end and older devices. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 2-megapixels, but the competing smartphones are offering better front-facing camera solutions with increased resolution.
