Software and Performance
The galaxy device comes loaded with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop unlike the J5 and J7, which come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is customised by Samsung’s TouchWiz UI featuring S Bike mode to help you while driving. There is also Ultra Data Saving mode to help you save on data consumption, therefore, helping you save your money. The Galaxy J3 (2016) is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum chipset with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. To allow users to work on multiple apps at the same time, the smartphone is paired by 1.5GB of RAM. For storage, the device hosts 8GB of internal storage space, which is the lowest amount of storage you can get in the mobile devices at this price range. Samsung could have opted for more internal storage but the storage can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
