The Samsung Galaxy Note FE is the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 with only one upgrade, the Bluetooth 5.0. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had been in the news for quite a long time as it suffered from exploding due to some technical problems. Now Samsung has fixed the technical issues and has fitted the device with newer batteries, and the device is now known as Note FE. The Galaxy Note 7R measures 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9mm, and it weighs 169 grammes.

The Samsung Galaxy Note FE has a 12-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front for imaging. The primary camera has dual-pixel autofocus for blazing fast focusing, and an LED flash to aid in dark environments. The front-facing camera is wide-angle so that it can capture more people into the selfie.

The Samsung Galaxy Note FE packs the in-house developed Exynos 8890 chipset that features octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. The RAM is 4GB whereas the internal storage is 64GB with the option to expand it up to 256GB via the hybrid SIM card slot. The Galaxy Note FE has a fingerprint scanner on the front along with the first in segment iris-scanner for hassle-free unlocking of the device. The Samsung Galaxy Note FE comes with many software features such as Secure Folder, and Device Maintenance in the Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

The Galaxy Note FE unlike the Galaxy Note 7, comes with a downsized 3,200 mAh battery supporting Samsung s Adaptive Fast Charge for quicker charging. The Samsung Galaxy Note FE retains the 3.5mm audio jack along with the newer USB Type-C port for the convenience of connectivity. The Galaxy Note FE supports dual-SIM connectivity with 4G LTE.
