Samsung Galaxy S11

The Samsung Galaxy S11 not only looks beautiful but also shows brilliant visuals to your eyes, thanks to its 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen. The screen has impossibly thin bezels on its sides and a punch-hole camera at the top middle portion. The Galaxy S11’s screen panel has QHD+ resolution (3040×1440 pixels), Always-On Display mode, HDR10+ certification, 19:9 aspect ratio, and it is covered by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 6 toughened protection panel. The phone’s body is dust and water resistance, thanks to IP68 certification, and it looks premium. The Galaxy S11 has a metal chassis and there are glass panels on the front and the rear. The phone even has stereo loudspeakers with high volume levels, better stereo separation, and Dolby Atmos audio decoding.

Samsung has upped the ante in the imaging department on the Galaxy S11 with its quad-camera setup. The phone has four cameras on the rear, including a 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor (with a wide-angle lens, F1.5-F2.4 dual-aperture, OIS, and DP-PDAF), a 16MP camera (with 24mm ultra-wide-angle lens and fixed-focus), a 16MP camera (with 3x optical zoom telephoto lens, OIS, and PDAF), and a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) camera. All the three rear-facing cameras of the Galaxy S11 can record 4K 60fps HDR10+ videos. The 3D ToF camera can create a 3D depth map of nearby objects in the frame and capture images with a more accurate background blur effect or with fun AR (augmented reality) elements. The phone can also record 1080p 480FPS and 720p 960FPS ultra slow-mo videos. At the front, the Galaxy S11 comes equipped with a 12MP selfie camera with a dual-pixel phase-detection autofocus lens and 4K 60FPS as well as HDR10+ video recording.

Year-after-year, it is a customary step for Samsung to launch its new Galaxy S series phones with a brand new version of Android, and the launch of the Galaxy S11 is no different. The Galaxy S11 comes with Android 10 pre-installed with the company’s own software customizations and feature additions in the form of Samsung One UI 2.0. Additional features include Samsung Pay, Kids Mode, Secure Folder, themes, icon packs, AoD clock styles, Edge Display widget, Link To Windows, Samsung DeX, and more. In terms of hardware, the Samsung Galaxy S11 is equipped with the brand new Exynos 9830 processing chipset. It is made using the company’s own 7nm+ EUV fabrication process. It has two Mongoose M5 CPU core with higher clock speed, two Mongoose M5 CPU cores clocked at a slightly lower frequency, and four Cortex-A55 CPU cores. Samsung has used the newly announced Mali-G77 GPU which offers much better graphical performance. There is 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for those who want even more storage space.

The Samsung Galaxy S11 is the company’s second-gen 5G smartphone series. It is compatible with both mmWave and sub-6GHz technologies for wider use cases. Other connectivity features on the phone include 2G, 3G, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/5/6, Wi-Fi Direct, Google Cast, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, MST, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port. The Galaxy S11 is powered by a 4000mAh battery which can last a day on a single charge with normal usage patterns. The phone also supports 25W and 45W Fast Charge 2.0 standards. The Galaxy S11 is compatible with up to 15W wireless charging (over Qi) and 9W reverse wireless charging. In earlier news… According to our sources, the Galaxy S11 lineup will have at least variants, bearing model numbers SM-G981, SM-G986, and SM-G988. All these variants will come with integrated 5G connectivity. On another note, we’ve also managed to find the model number of a newer foldable screen smartphone from Samsung. It will bear the model number SM-F700F, which consists of a lower number than the Galaxy Fold’s model number (SM-F900F). If this information is accurate, it could mean that the company’s next foldable smartphone could be a trimmed-down version of the original Fold.
