Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo is supposedly a lite version of the company's 2012 flagship device - Samsung Galaxy S3 and is reportedly the Indian version of Samsung Galaxy S III Neo Plus . The device supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) powered with a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor from an unnamed chipset maker. In terms of memory, it has 1.5 GB of RAM and a memory card on board that would let the internal storage expand up to 64 GB.

The smartphone sports a 4.8" HD Super AMOLED capacitive touch-screen with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels giving an effective pixel density of about 306 PPI. In terms of design, it inherits the same look and feel of Samsung Galaxy S3 and comes with a removable battery as well.

The device is equipped with an 8 MP primary rear facing auto-focus camera and has an LED flash too for better low light photography. The camera comes with all the common camera features including geo-tagging, touch focus, image stabilization, simultaneous image & video capturing, smile/face detection and can record videos in full HD (1080p) format too. The device also comes with a 1.8 MP secondary front facing camera that's generally used for snapping self-portraits and video calling. The secondary camera is capable of capturing videos in HD (720p) format. In terms of multimedia capabilites of the device, being an Android powered device, it is capable of playing all the common multimedia formats including, but not limited to, MP3, MP4, WAV, AAC, AVI, etc.

As mentioned earlier, Samsung Galaxy Neo comes loaded with Android v4.3 (Jelly Bean) operating system on top of which would be Samsung TouchWiz UI. In terms of other software features, the device comes loaded with all the common apps and software features including Google search, Gmail, Hangouts, Maps, Youtube, image & video editor, document viewer, etc.

Just like all other devices from the Korean manufacturer, the Galaxy S3 Neo comes with a removable battery too. However, the exact specification has not been revealed yet by the company, though they claim it would give a back-up of about 14 hours talk-time with full charge. In terms of connectivity features, the device supports Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM), GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSDPA - 21 Mbps, HSUPA - 5.76 Mbps; Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi direct, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB v2.0, GPS & AGPS, etc.
