Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 4G

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, as the name suggests, is a 9.7-inch tablet out of the Korean manufacturer. Following the Galaxy Tab S series, Samsung has now introduced the Galaxy Tab S2 series featuring the company's proprietary Exynos chipset.

The Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 comes with a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display having QXGA (2048x1536 pixels) screen resolution. The screen is bright with wide viewing angles. The big screen along with great viewing angles ensures a unique video experience.

The Galaxy Tab S2 series is an upgraded version of the Galaxy Tab S. The tablet's performance is taken care by an octa-core Exynos 5433 SoC. The Exynos chipset ensures smooth sailing. Paired with a 3GB of RAM, the device is expected to support multitasking.

There is 32GB of internal storage which users can use to store and install apps and other important data. Also, there is a microSD card slot which can expand the storage up to 128GB.

At the back, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera paired with a 2.1-megapixel front-facing shooter. But, unfortunately, the tablet does not support UHD video recording. As per the specifications, the Galaxy Tab S2 is expected to compete with the likes of Asus Zenpad 2 and Galaxy Tab A tablets.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is only 5.6 mm thick and weighs a hefty 389 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and a microUSB 2.0 port. On the software front, the tablet runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 is backed up by a Li-Ion 5870 mAh cell which has enough juice to keep the device functioning for an entire day.
