Samsung Wave II S8530 is a single SIM, GSM smartphone with advanced features priced at under Rs. 15000. It functions on a BADA operating system and a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor that supports advanced 3D graphics. The 3.7 inch screen with 16K color support displays images with 480x800 pixel resolution. The phone displays Facebook information, weather updates, and breaking news. The S8530 is a light-weight camera of just 135 g.

The phone is designed with a 5 MP camera with 4x digital zoom. It also has several important features such as Image-Edit, Face and Smile Recognition, Geo-Tagging, Auto-Focus and White Balance.
