Sony Xperia Tipo Dual

Sony Xperia Tipo Dual is a dual sim entry level smartphone from Sony Xperia range. The phone features a 3.2" TFT capacitive touch screen. The phone runs Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by an 800MHz processor with 512MB RAM. The phone is fairly mid size with dimensions of 103 x 57 x 13 mm and weighs 99grams.

The phone comes with a 3.15MP camera with Geo tagging feature. The camera can record normal VGA resolution videos. Sony Xperia Tipo is multimedia savvy with ability to play music in MP3, WMA, WAV and eAAC+ and videos in MP4, H.264 and WMV formats.

Sony Xperia Tipo Dual runs on Quad Band 2G and 3G networks on both SIMs making it unique in comparison to other dual sim smartphones which usually run 3G only on first SIM. The phone can connect to the internet via GPRS, EDGE, 3G and WiFi networks. The phone has Bluetooth 2.1 and micro USB 2.0 to cater to other connectivity needs.

The phone houses a 1500 mAh standard Li-Ion battery that provides up to 5 hours of talk time in 2G and 6 hours of talk time in 3G. The phone has 2.9 GB of internal memory which can be further expandable by up to 32GB via micro SD card.
