Vivo V1

The mid-range Android based smartphone from Vivo, the Vivo V1 is the first device in the V series of mobiles launched in India. The V in the V series of devices is derived from vigour and the device packs some powerful hardware to deliver the vigour it promises.

The device comes with a 5-inch touch screen display having a full HD (1920x1080 pixels) resolution. The device comes in an ultra slim metallic body and the light weight form ensure that the device is a beautiful media package.

The dual-SIM smartphone ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and comes with the Funtouch 2.1 OS on top for enhanced user experience.

In the imaging section, the device sports a 13-megapixel primary camera along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera. The primary camera shoots full HD images and even record videos in full HD resolution at 30fps. The selfie camera is good for capturing some spectacular images at HD resolution. The front camera is pretty good for making video calls in most lighting situations.

Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 410 processor. The processor churns out impeccable performance thanks to the 64-bit octa-core processor. The processor is paired with 2GB of RAM to ensure seamless multi-tasking on the device. Although the device runs hassle free during most multi-tasking applications, the 2GB of RAM available on the device is a bit lacking when compared to other devices in the price bracket.

The dual-SIM smartphone is 4G LTE enabled and comes with a host of connectivity features such as Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and also a microUSB 2.0 port. The device draws power from a 2300mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. The battery has enough juice to keep it ticking for at least an entire day.
