Vivo V3 16GB

The Vivo V3 16GB is one of two variants of the device, the other featuring 32GB of storage space. The phone is priced under Rs. 15,000.

The Vivo V3 has an IPS LCD display that displays bright colors with contrast, ideal for viewing images. The 5.0-inch screen has a resolution of 720 x 1080 pixels (HD) and a pixel density of 294 PPI. The display features 2.5D curved glass. Other physical aspects of the device include the volume and power buttons that are positioned on the right edge and capacitive buttons below the screen on the front. The phone measures 143.6 x 71 x 7.5 mm while weighing a light 138 grams. The smartphone is available in gold exteriors only.

The phone runs 5.1 Lollipop with FunTouch 2.5 UI on top. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 616 chipset that is equipped with an octa-core processor (4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and 4 x 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53) and a 3GB RAM that handle demanding tasks with ease. Internal storage on the device is limited to 16GB that can be increased to 256GB with an SD card that fits into a dedicated slot, so users don’t have to sacrifice SIM 2 for this purpose. Graphics on the phone is handled by an Adreno 405 GPU.

The primary camera on the V3 is 13-megapixels that captures quality images aided by an f/2.1 aperture, PDAF for quickly focusing on images, and LED flash for low-light situations. The primary camera records HD videos while the front camera is 8-megapixels that also captures quality images with its f/2.3 aperture. The app is equipped with touch focus, panorama and a number of other modes to optimise available light to capture the best images possible. The non-removable battery that powers the phone is 2,550mAh.

The V3 supports dual SIM cards, both of which support 4G. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and a microUSB 2.0 port to charge the phone. The phone sports a fingerprint sensor at the back. GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS and BDS facilitate navigation on the V3.
