Vivo has 4G and 5G devices for consumers, and it’s good to see the brand focus on both the segments, with demand equally disbursed. This new Vivo device has a 6.47-inch HD+ display that supports 720x1600 pixels resolution. The screen gets waterdrop notch which has the selfie camera, and offers pixel density of 271 PPI. Y40 comes powered by MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core chipset, paired with 4GB RAM. It offers 128GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using the dedicated card slot. For imaging purpose, the phone gets a quad rear camera that includes a 13MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it gets an 8MP selfie camera. Vivo Y40 gets backed up with a 5000mAh battery that supports fast charging via USB Type C port. Other features on the phone are side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, headphone jack and Infrared. Other Vivo mobiles in the market include Vivo U10, Vivo Y20T and the Vivo Y12s.
