The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is introducing a new mid-range handset in its Y-series dubbed as the Vivo Y54s. The new smartphone from Vivo features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution. The screen has a water-drop-shaped notch for the selfie camera, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 404 PPI. Under the hood, the Vivo Y54s uses an octa-core Dimensity 700 processor which is coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The device packs 6GB of RAM and has 128GB of expandable storage. The Vivo Y54s boots Funtouch OS out of the box which is based on Android 11. The device on the rear side flaunts a dual-camera setup. The camera module includes a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The 13MP main sensor has an f/2.2 aperture. For the selfie purpose, the device features an 8MP selfie camera. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Connectivity-wise the Vivo Y54s has a dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.2, 4G VoLTE, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. As for the security purpose the device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a face unlock support. The other popular mobile from Vivo includes Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y32.
