Pros
As much as I would like to list at least one good thing about the device, I can't. The Vivo Y81 does not offer anything better than its competitors. Sorry Vivo; you need to work harder to make better smartphones, and not just spend on marketing.
Cons
The Vivo Y81's display has a lower resolution. Due to it, the display sharpness is less than other smartphones in the price range. The device also lacks behind in imaging hardware. Its front-facing camera resolution is just 5MP, which is comparatively less than other similarly priced smartphones. As for the rear camera, the Y81, in spite of costing Rs. 11,999, doesn't offer a dual-camera setup. Lastly, it has a 3260mAh battery, which is less as compared to other smartphones in the price range.

Introduction and Performance
The Vivo Y81 has a super sleek and premium finish. The smartphone features face unlock feature and also sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. A MediaTek MT6762 octa-core SoC powers the Vivo Y81. The SoC has PowerVR GE8320 GPU for graphics. There is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage onboard.
Camera and Connectivity
At the rear, the Vivo Y81 has a 13MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture. A front-facing camera is a 5MP unit with AI beautification features. The device has dual-SIM connectivity with support for 4G LTE. The phone features a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. The device also has a microUSB 2.0 port, and a microSD card slot for expanding memory.
