The Vivo Y83 is a mid-range offering from the China-based smartphone vendor. The budget offering does not come with a fingerprint reader, but is integrated with AI Beautification mode that promises clearer selfies. In terms of display, the Vivo Y83 flaunts a big 6.22-inch Full HD+ screen which has good colour reproduction and is paired with wide viewing angles that make videos and games look great. Also, the display on the front sports a notch housing front camera and other sensors. 

Fuelled by a non-removable Li-Ion 3,260mAh battery, the Vivo Y83 is touted to last to last throughout the day under normal to moderate usage. On the software front, the handset runs the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. 

For shutterbugs, the Vivo Y83 comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera paired with an LED flash, whic allows users to shoot images and record videos in dark conditions.
