Xiaomi Mi Pad 7.9

With looks similar to iPad, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 7.9 has got features which distinguishes it from the other tablets in the market. Available in five different colour variants (Green, Blue, Pink, Yellow and White) the tablet from the Chinese manufacturer packs a punch.

The Mi Pad 7.9 is an Android based tablet which as the name suggests comes with a 7.9-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The screen has QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixels) screen resolution which reflects an effective pixel density of 324 PPI. In addition, the 7.9-inch screen also comes with Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The tablet is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra Cortex-A15 K1 processor with ULP GeForce Kepler GPU. However, this is not a GSM device and does not work on any GSM networks. The tablet is available in 16 and 64GB variants to choose from. But the device also has an external microSD card slot that can extend the storage capacity of the tablet up to 128 GB.

The device comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera which can be used to capture vivid images, the only negative point is the absence of LED flash. It also has a 5-megapixel front camera that can record Full HD videos. Connectivity options that tag along with the tablet are Wi-Fi- 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port. The tablet is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 360 grams. The tablet is powered by a Li-Po 6700 mAh battery that supports music playback up to 86h.
