Xiaomi Redmi K30

The Redmi K30 has exactly the same screen that is used in the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro. It is a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel from Samsung that has Full HD+ resolution (2340x1080 pixels), 19.5:9 aspect ratio, HDR10 video playback, 600 nits of brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. When it comes to the build of the phone, the Redmi K30 uses a metal chassis that is sandwiched between two Corning Gorilla Glass 5 panels, offering strength and ruggedness to the phone. The device is also resistant to water splashes, thanks to P2i coating around ports and holes. The phone uses an in-display, optical fingerprint reader.

There are three cameras on the back of the Xiaomi Redmi K30, similar to the Redmi K20. It uses a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor as its primary camera, and it is paired with F1.8 aperture, PDAF, wide-angle lens, and 4K 30fps video recording. There is a 16MP camera sensor that has an ultra-wide-angle lens (13mm), F2.4 aperture, and 4K 30fps video recording. The third camera sensor has a resolution of 8 megapixels and it has 2x optical zoom as well as 4K video recording. At the front, the phone has a 16MP selfie camera that s neatly fitted inside a motorized pop-up mechanism that pops out from the top of the phone s frame. The front-facing camera can record up to Full HD 1080p videos with a 30fps frame rate.

The Xiaomi Redmi K30 is equipped with a supremely powerful mid-range processor that can challenge even some high-end mobile processing platforms. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC (system on chip) is the Redmi K30 s brain, and it helps the phone run Android 10 operating system with Xiaomi s own customizations in the form of MIUI 11 software UI. The SoC is combined with at least 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and at least 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage chip. Thanks to such potent hardware, the Redmi K30 could be a mobile gamer s dream in its price segment.

Unlike the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro, the Redmi K30 is powered by a larger battery with a higher capacity. It is equipped with a 4500mAh battery and it supports both Qualcomm s Quick Charge 4+ tech as well as USB IF s USB Power Delivery system. Both these technologies let the Redmi K30 charge faster. In terms of wired and wireless connectivity, the Redmi K30 has two nano SIM card slots, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, Google Cast, Wi-Fi Hotspot, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
