Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro

The first change Xiaomi wanted to make with the Redmi Note 7 Pro is with the move to a Sony IMX586 imaging sensor as opposed to the Samsung ISOCELL GM1 which is used on the Redmi Note7. As such, you get a 48MP + 5MP rear camera setup which should be capable of slightly better photography compared to its predecessor. The front camera on this phone gets an upgrade to a 13MP sensor. Processing capabilities also see an improvement as you get a Snapdragon 675 SoC on the Note 7 Pro. This is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. As for software, the phone ships with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

Keeping in line with modern smartphone trends, the Redmi Note 7 Pro carries a waterdrop notched LCD that measures 6.3-inches and offers a Full HD+ resolution. This screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The rear of the phone is made from a glossy glass-like material. The entire handset does offer some degree of water resistance even though it doesn’t come with an official IP rating. Another bonus of this phone is that it offers an IR blaster.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is capable of holding two 4G SIM cards at a time with Dual VoLTE standby. There is a position on this tray for a microSD card with up to 400GB capacity. As for the battery, the phone gets a 4000mAh cell that charges over the included USB Type-C port and even supports Quick Charge 4.0. Other connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, and GPS/ A-GPS. For security, you can make use of the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner along with AI Face Unlock via the selfie camera.
